Danny L. Greene, age 69, of Phoenix, passed away on Saturday, June 17, 2017 in Phoenix, Arizona. He was born on August 25, 1947 in Oklahoma City, OK. Danny proudly joined the US Army from 1965-1967 and served in Viet Nam. On October 16, 1971 he married Dianne in Santa Ana, CA. Danny worked as a Licensed Commercial Framing Contractor in California and Arizona. He retired as a Construction Estimator who worked for Pace Pacific Contracting, High Bluff Construction, Sahara, Inc., Rowland Companies & Stellar Contracting in Arizona and D.L. Danny L. Greene, age 69, of Phoenix, passed away on Saturday, June 17, 2017 in Phoenix, Arizona. He was born on August 25, 1947 in Oklahoma City, OK. Danny proudly joined the US Army from 1965-1967 and served in Viet Nam. On October 16, 1971 he married Dianne in Santa Ana, CA. Danny worked as a Licensed Commercial Framing Contractor in California and Arizona. He retired as a Construction Estimator who worked for Pace Pacific Contracting, High Bluff Construction, Sahara, Inc., Rowland Companies & Stellar Contracting in Arizona and D.L. Greene Construction, Cal-Real Construction and Duke Timber Structures in California. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, off road racing, and building RC Helicopters. Danny is survived by his loving spouse of 45 years, Dianne; two children, Rebecca Armstrong and Danny L. (Carrie) Greene, Jr.; one sister, Cyndee Greene; three grandchildren, Kelly Armstrong, Tanner Greene, and Riley Greene; cousin, Walter Lister; as well as other cousins and friends in Arizona and Oklahoma. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest and Ruby Greene. Heartfelt thanks to the caregivers at Approved Facilities, LLC of Phoenix for the loving care given to Danny during this past year. A gathering of family and friends will take place in the near future. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Danny's honor may be made to a favorite charity of choice.
